There are some moments as an Irish brand that feel particularly special, and seeing our Scatter Box cushions take their place on stage with Oprah Winfrey at Dublin’s 3Arena was certainly one of them. We were delighted when Suzanne Carroll from Enthire reached out to Scatter Box and invited us to be part of this very exciting project. Suzanne was creating the stage setting for Oprah’s Dublin event and had a wonderful vision to transform the space into a warm, welcoming and beautifully styled setting, surrounded by carefully selected products from Irish brands. When she asked if we would like Scatter Box to be involved, there was only ever going to be one answer – of course, we said yes!

The finished stage was absolutely beautiful. Despite being set within the scale of the 3Arena, Suzanne created a space that felt wonderfully intimate, comfortable and full of character, capturing the warmth of a cosy Irish home while still feeling elegant enough for such a special occasion. We were incredibly proud to see two of our Scatter Box cushions, Benbulbin Green and Uilleann Sage, selected for the stage styling. Their rich green and sage tones worked beautifully within the overall scheme, adding layers of colour, softness and texture to the setting and complementing the other Irish products featured throughout the space. Seeing our designs sitting on stage was exciting enough, but watching Oprah herself take her seat amongst our Scatter Box cushions made it a particularly memorable moment for everyone here at Scatter Box.

Our involvement extended beyond the main stage, as Scatter Box cushions were also used to style Oprah’s greenroom backstage at the 3Arena. For this space, we worked with a beautiful mix of gorgeous green shades alongside softer, natural tones, creating a relaxed and inviting environment for Oprah and her team. The combination of Sylvie, Zari, Amelie, Darcy and Elodie brought a sense of calm and warmth to the room while still delivering the layered, considered look that is so central to the Scatter Box style. It was a real privilege to know that our products were helping to create a comfortable and welcoming space for Oprah during her time in Dublin, and it made the experience even more special to see Scatter Box represented both behind the scenes and in front of the audience on the main stage.

As a second-generation Irish family business based in Navan, Co. Meath, moments like this mean a great deal to us. Scatter Box has always had a passion for bringing interiors to life through colour, pattern, texture and beautiful design, with many of our cushions still made by our skilled team here in Ireland. To see our products chosen to form part of such a high-profile event, surrounded by other Irish products and showcased on a stage designed to celebrate the warmth and character of an Irish home, was an incredibly proud moment for our entire team.

A huge thank you must go to Suzanne and everyone at Enthire for inviting Scatter Box to be part of such a memorable project and for creating such a beautiful setting. We were delighted to play our own small part in welcoming Oprah Winfrey to Dublin and, needless to say, seeing her sitting amongst our cushions at the 3Arena is a Scatter Box moment we won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
