Operating from a 38,000 sq. ft facility in Navan, Scatter Box manufactures some of its range in-house — especially cushions, ottomans, and bespoke soft furnishings. Approximately 70% of our cushion collection is produced locally, reinforcing our “Made with Love in Ireland” commitment.

Our Legacy

Scatter Box is the designer home-furnishings division of Abbeylands Furniture Ltd, a proud Irish family‑run business founded in 1959 by Danny Fitzpatrick in Navan, Co. Meath. With over 65 years of experience, the company remains privately held and firmly rooted in its local heritage.

Scatter Box is celebrated for its bold, creative use of colour and design, continually introducing two seasonal collections each year drawn from global inspirations.

The “Designed with Love in Ireland” line features digitally printed cushions sourced from original hand-painted graphics produced by an in-house design team

At Scatter Box, design and craftsmanship come together in our 38,000 sq. ft. Navan facility, where every product is created with care and purpose. 

Our Made with Love in Ireland collection is at the heart of what we do. Over 70% of our cushions are handmade here in Navan, alongside our ottomans, a selection of our throws and bed runners, and our outdoor cushion collection. Each piece is hand-cut, stitched, and finished by our skilled team using high-quality upholstery-grade fabrics and premium feather fillings, ensuring every product delivers both beauty and lasting quality. 

Our outdoor collection holds a special place in our journey. Made from recycled materials and crafted in Navan, it was vital to us that our inaugural outdoor range reflected our values of sustainability, quality, and thoughtful design.

Sustainable at Our Core

In our factory, we repurpose waste materials by producing our own crumb foam filling, which is used in our popular Pods, reducing waste and supporting our circular economy approach. Our Earth Kind range, made entirely from recycled materials, reflects our commitment to creating furnishings that are as responsible as they are beautiful.

This in-house capability allows us to develop and produce distinctive, design-led ranges quickly and reliably, giving us the flexibility to innovate while maintaining exceptional quality.
